Ouropen classes are designed for increasing flexibility, strength,proper breathing and vitality in the body while calming the mind. The approach helps the practitioner gain much more than just a healthy body. A typical open level class includes pranayama (breathing exercises), warm-ups including sun salutation, basic asana (postures) and deep relaxation therapies and key focus is on mastering the basics from which variations are then added to further deepen the practice. The asana are in an order that allows for the systematic movement of every major part of the body in a balanced way that enhances the flow of energy. Pranayama is followed by the series of Asan to remove the energy blocks and life force or prana can flow though the physical and subtle bodies.
